Trying to fix the lap top

Well I called the kids at HP to try and see if I still have a warranty. So I call the number for HP service and wouldn't you know, it's in m f'n india. So the first guy I can't understand, so not really sure if it's in india, I hang up and call back and try again, nope can't understand them. So the third time I call, they answer the phone, I just say I want to talk to a supervisor, they ask me if they can help me, I just want to talk to the supervisor. They ask again, can they help, I tell them I want a supervisor. They transfer me and I can kind of understand the indian guy. So he goes on to tell me that my computer warrantry expired on sept. 11, 2005, since it was registered 1 year earlier, on sept. 11, 2004. Problem is, I didn't buy the computer till November 26, 2004. So pissed off I call the place where I bought it, they tracked down my receipt and they helped me out with it and once I get my computer back, I can call india and figure it out. I don't care that someone bought it, returned it, but they didn't have to register it. The local electronics store rep was super kewl and easy to deal with, which in todays world is hard to come by. He called me back and walked me through the hoooona daaaaa (remember the jerky boys) accent with the guy from india.
